I would be interested as I understand they are excellent skimmers, but think its gonna be way overkill for my new 180 gallon tank.

Questions

I assume the skimmer works great as I know they are rated extremely well. Would i need to add anything to get this working on my new tank i am building? Also is there such a thing as too much skimming?
