    So i picked up some LR from Barnacle but i had to take care of a couple things before i headed back into queens from jersey. I'd say from the time that i picked up the LR and the time it got in my tank was about 3.5-4 hrs. How much dieoff can i expect from the rocks being out of water for this...

    Hmm... well i remember that they used to keep their LR selection in these tanks so i'm pretty sure that they didn't use copper. Is there any way to look at the sealant and know if they used it (ie, a tint in the silicone or deterioration)

    Yea, i mean this clam was pretty damn big. I'd say about 8"-12". It had a MH over it so i'm not sure but i only looked at it top down.

    Oh right. Yes it's crushed coral ( i know i will change it out when i get my bigger tank) and i'm using tap water. don't really know where to get RO/DI water. Turbo snails are pretty good at cleaning that stuff up no?

    This LFS is taking down a whole bunch of 75 gallon tanks and sellin them for 20 bucks. Just to let you guys know. They're drilled on both sides. Kinda in crappy condition but if cleaned up right, i think they'd be a good deal. No scratches or cracks.
