I came accross the same guy a while back. Asked him for a quote on some used tanks, and the prices were ridiculous.

my friend got a 1000g tank for under 2grand. And it was perfect and shipped to his door, seams were perfect, i'll have to get the manufacturers info, it was somewhere in Long Island.

Have you seen the latest Tank of the Month on Reef Central? 1500 Gallons and if I'm not mistaken was on the second floor of a residence.

It's not local though. It's in Finland or some Scandinavian country. Just glanced at the article quickly this morning.

another guy had a 450 and his buy it mow was 8500.00
way way off base!! average price for an acrylic 450 1" thick with corner boxes is 3500.00 plus shipping

he wants $8500 dollars for a 450 gal acrylic tank

Frank, do you know how much Tenecor charges for a 450 gallon? $8500 for a 450 sounds like wayyyy to much for it.

I can build 3 450 gallon tanks for that price. he told me the actual cost was $11,000.00
