Here is one hell of a clone offered by someone at RC. This is the best looking clone I have seen so far. It's very tempting.

I guy on RC says he has a friend that has a 1/2" Tyree Watermelon Alien Eye for $200.00.

I requested a picture and ask how do I know it's really from the Tyree lineage.

With the right answers and pictures, I may be on to one!

Clone or original, it really doesn't matter. Eventually I'll have an original, but I'm just looking for cheaper right now. Whatever you can get, Karl, is fine by me...I appreciate you finding whatever you can find. Psychadelic, rainbow, watermelon, whatever...

I am surprised that you didn't go after the clone that I linked above from the guy at RC. That one looks great and was $150.

That's the coolest LPS, IMO.I have a "clone" that is probably similar to the one sold by Atlantis. It's nice, but nothing like the pics I've seen of the real thing. I did notice just today though, that it is develuping brighter pink coloring, so who knows.

Do you guys think this looks like the real deal or is it a clone?

The guys says the picture does it no justice.

He grew this mother colony in 1.5 years from a small frag.

It's from the LA area. He got it from a guy who got it from a guy....

He says he has traded a single frag of this for a frag of a superman monti, rainbow monti a purple monster. So it must be awesome looking in person, yes?

Looks like the picture was taken with a flash, so that would wash out the colors a bit. See if you can get a pic without flash...looks like it'd be a great looking coral "in person."

I think I may just go for it.

He's asking $170.00 and claiming it to be the real deal. I have seen people asking $150 for pieces that were admittedly clones.
