What does everyone prefer to feed their SPS corals? I've been target feeding kent phyto plex with some cyclopese mixed in. I do this two times a week. Is this too frequently ?

I feed two times a week with oyster eggs. I also feed my fish daily or every other day. More for the sun coral than the fish really. It has to be fed everyday. So there is something in the water dailey that the corals can get.

I use Rotifeast once in a while (maybe 2-3 times a month). I haven't fed my SPS much, partially because I don't see much difference and also partially because I am just too plain lazy :P

I throw in a mix of Phyto-feast and Oyster Eggs once a week. The phyto's primarily for my clams. I tried that trio of Expert Series stuff by Kent, but I didn't get the same feeding response that I have now.

I might just have a lousy memory here (and it is possible :)), but phyto is way too small for sps corals, however it does feed other stuff which may exist in your tank that is large enough, and cyclopeze is too big for sps to consume (again I can't recollect where I heard this)

usually rotifers, sometimes copepods, or random stuff from a plankton tow (filtered to 250um or smaller)

This reminds me to order some rotifeast.

SPS ca be healthy and grow fine with good calcium, alkalinity, lighting and flow. And clean water. Anything else you feed them is a bonus.
