Can't seem to find my old thread. LED upgrade! Thanks Russ at Saltwatercritters for helping find a light that works for my system. Went with a 48" mariland reef capable LED. My fish and corals are loving it! One of the ballasts on my old light blew out. It caused my green slime colony to bleach out. A few hours after I put the new fixture up the slime started coloring back up. Check out some pictures.

if you dont ventilate or have fans blowing across that fixture it will overheat and burn out
