Well without too much coral in your tank... how are you going to get your levels perfect when there is little being extracted out of your system?

Tony until you start getting a real consumption from the calcification of corals and coralline it will be a PITA to try to automatically dose. Start dosing manually very little, 10ml or 15ml per day. If it doesn't keep up with the levels that you want to maintain, first manually bump up to target range, and increase daily dosage by 5ml.

the tank is taking up alk, cal and mag because i see the drop in testing. i set the doser to 5 ml for cal and alk and for 2ml for mag daily see how it is..

im trying to kasei and thanks. i dont have the funds that i used to have ... i gotta wait till the tank is ready for a friends entire sps collection :biggrin: i dont want to end up killing em until i know that its 100% ready.

updated lighting schedule

dawn/dusk - 12:00 - 22:00 (had dawn/dusk for 8 hrs before)
Daylight - 14:00 - 20:00 (had daylight at 4 hrs before)

did a 5 gallon water change yesterday doing another 5 gallon water change today. i no it would of been better if i did a 10 gallon all at once but its easier for me to do it this way.

adjusted doser to 10ml of cal and alk and left mag at 2ml a day
