Theres 2 - 1 inch flex pvc lines going down to the sump from the overflow.
3/4 inch flex pvc from the Mag 12 going into a T as the return, return then converts into 1/2 inch in the tank. I have to regulate the flow with a ball valve, can't open it all the way the overflow goes crazy, and i put in an extra ball valve for quick water changes.

Oatey All Purpose Cement for ABS, CPVC, & PVC & Oatey Clear Cleaner aka Primer for ABS, CPVC, & PVC, use the cleaner/ primer on both the pvc and bulkhead first then apply the all purpose cement on both then jam that sucker in, you can find it at the home depot, it sets in mins.

Nice setup! If you dont mind me asking do you find the Mag 12 to be too much for a return pump? I have a 65g reef and my Quiet One 3000 just died on me and I have a mag 12 and I am am nervous that it may be too much power for a 65g tank. I can always split the feed and have and have some of it just circulate in the sump, but was curious.

Looking good, I like he aquascaping as well.

A thought...you might want to consider attaching that power bar to the inside of the cabinet and get it off the floor of the cabinet as that is the first place thatwill get wet if you have a an overflow issue at some point.

I also agree that a Mag 12 might be too strong for the tank and a waste of energy. Are you using the return flow as the main source of flow in your DT? I bet the tank evaporates a good deal of wter for it's size.

Thanks everyone!!!!, i try my best to keep it clean, thanks Kathy i will rearrange my plug strips, my mag 12 is super quiet, flow is great i dont need powerheads at all, i have a ball valve to limit the total power of the mag 12 and its probably 3/4 of the way open it makes the overflow too noisey if i crack it all the way, it definitly circulated the water very well, i do recommend the mag 12
