A slight change from design as I realized I wouldn't be able to fit a skimmer and a pump in the left chamber. Skimmer I got from a friend so no point in trying to squeeze it in.

I want to extend the drain pipe on the right into the fuge... ideally I would like it to be just below the water line to cut down on noise. Any issue with that?

I also have the extra valve coming off the pump to expand to a drain connection and the smaller side tank once I decide on how I'm doing all that.

Enough work for me today... time for a bar crawl!!!

Had a bulkhead leak but it was easily fixed by tightening... otherwise water test went well.

I've changed my mind on where I want to put the tank so I won't be able to plumb the side tank directly into the bigger tank anymore. If I was still set it up and do weekly 50% water changes with water from the bigger tank, what other equipment would I need to put in it besides a heater and powerhead?

Slowly getting there with my ro/di.... I actually put all the water into the sump and buckets last night so I was able to add my sand without making a cloudy mess. Also got my new LEDs from Wingo recently too... almost there!

Fish are all doing well and the corals have mostly opened up... tank was running a little warm (around 82) until I got the chiller hooked up on Tuesday.

On Weds I added 1xMale Sunset Anthias and 3xFemale Sunset Anthias. I haven't seen them come out from behind the rocks yet I hope they're ok.

Careful adding all those fish at once. Your tank is gonna most likely go through a full cycle again, and I would have QT them.

No cycle what so ever. A QT is a good idea but I just don't have the space for it. In addition to my sand and LR from the old tank, I got another 100 lbs or so of LR from my friend's 120g which he got rid of the following day. I will admit to feeding too much but I wanted to make sure the tangs were well fed the first couple of weeks.

I have not see the Blonde Naso since the weekend and found the Convict dead last night. No dead inverts (they're usually first to go in my experience) though and my corals are fully opened. I tested everything again and conditions are perfect so I'm not sure what happened to them, no signs of ick or anything that I could see.

After all the hard work, I lost it my whole tank from the storm due to no power/heat... I emptied the tank out last Sunday and won't be able to live in my apartment for at least 3 months. Hoping I get something from insurance but I doubt it. I'll have to start over next year!!
