My new Ecoxotic Ecopico

About a month up and running this is a new project. Went bare bottom with this one for the first time and so far I am loving it. Always wanted to maintain a really nice pico and decided to go with ecoxotic 5.1g ecopico.

Equipment.....
Ecoxotic ecopico 5.1g (bare bottom)
Ecoxotic pico led light upgraded to 5 pico strips. 2 all blue, 3 blue and 12k
Ecotech mp10w pump
Aquaclear 20 w intank media basket using purigen, chemipure elite, and filter sponge.
2 fish.... Six line wrasse, and clown had them for almost 2 years together.
Bunch of corals and a nice clam as well that are all doing great. Except for the chalice and zoa frag I am trying to save for a friend.

All parameters are on point and doing weekly water changes siphoning waste off bottom.

I'm not a fan of bare bottom, but it sure must make it easy to take care of..so that is a big upside!

Have you experienced a lot of swings in the water quality? I'm curious to know how a tank that size handles itself with the ups and downs.

Actually no. So far so good. But I am very regimented and test twice a week and do a water change weekly/ faithfully. Parameters all read where they should alk stays 9-10 cal stays 410-440 and magnesium is 1100-1400. Those have been my bi-weekly readings to date.
Chemipure and purigen w foam pad intank basket for filtration.
