Well the time is near and I guess I can start this thread now. This will be a temporary tank for a year hopefully at the most. Then off to the bigger build. Anyways I'm going with an Oceanic 120 with a matching Oceanic stand. Pics will follow soon. The tank is 4'x2'x2', I have most of my equipment although I have it in 2 different houses right now. As for lighting I went with the Marineland 2x150 MH with 4x54 T5 and 4 led moonlights in the fixture. Skimmer is a Reef Octopus 200 extreme that I got from RealDeal on here. Sump will be made from a 40 breeder, return pump is an Ehiem 1262. Not sure if I want 2 MP40's or just stick with the one. Ebo- j?ger will be used as heaters not sure if I will use 2 or go with one 250 watt. Some smaller equipment is still being sorted out. I'm doing an addition on the house but I needed a larger tank for certain fish until I can get the final tank all done.

As for livestock these are fish that I already have and will be going into the tank.
Black Tang 3"
Achilles Tang 2 1/2"
Moorish Idol 3 1/2"
Leapord wrasse
Yellow Coris Wrasse
Kwazulu Wrasse
Japanese Lunate Wrasse
Argi Angel 1 1/2"
Starry Blenny

And these are fish I have that might not make it into the tank
Mystery Wrasse small
Vagabond Butterfly 2"
Black occ clowns

I am thinking of adding something else to the tank not sure exactly what though, I do know it will not be another tang though.

I'm afraid it might go after some of the smaller wrasses and the Moorish Idols streamer, right now the streamer is about 7"s. It's hard to find one with a long streamer let alone get it to grow out. Also the mystery is a snail and hermit killer.

The doors are off the stand just for ease of moving the stand around. Sorry for the lights in the box, just easier than pulling the system out of the packaging.

Skimmer pictured with a beer bottle just to show the size of the skimmer. Also where the DT is now the wall will be knocked down to make room for the new tank. Most corals have been removed as well, some given away others being held in friends tanks for me. The Achilles is in QT right now, will most likely be there for 2-3 months.

It gets a variety of food, nls pellets once a day, nori every other day. And then in the afternoon I feed either one of these or a combo of two. Spurlina brine(frozen variety), mysis, cyclopleez, emerald entree, butterfly and angel mix, red macro, green macro and marine cuisine.
