Coming along Rori, coming along. Those are some big pieces of rocks. JMO, but I think some tonga branches in there would be nice.:) But if you want to keep it how it is, thats cool too :D

LOL took the smallest pieces they had in the store =p

I'm afraid of adding more because I've read alot and heard from others that once youstart adding frags you may end up with TOO much rock..

that aquascape took me forever not even sure if i'm still thrilled with it.. but its staying for now..

will look into tonga branches and thansk for the IMG link idea.. will do next time..

thanks =)

ok so here are my first set of questions.. literally a day or two after this last post and pictures.. there seems to have been the bloom of algae i've been waiting for.. and my god it litterally seemed it happend in a few hours.

I woke up.. everything was relatively the same.. went to work.. mom commented on how she wanted to see the hermit crab.. we went to my apartment and OH MY GOD the tank looked awful (and of course hermie decided to keep to his I'm shy today hiding trick)..

So What I'm wondering is.. when its time for the clean up crew I don't want to overload the tank and which ones should I buy and how many...

thanks in advance for the help!

looking good. if you have an algae bloom i would start getting some members of the clean up crew. start slowly as you have a small tank. maybe one or two hermits and some astrea snails. you could always buy more when you feel more comfortable or when the clean up crew isn't keeping up w/ the algae

so a little update..

I put in my clean up crew .. (one of the hermit crabs didn't make it in transit) :tired:

And with it I got a little ricordia.. not attached.. (please note this is going to be important in about 2 seconds)...

So I got all these fine critters sometimes last week.. the clean up crew munching away all happy.. even hermie the original stowaway from my live rock comes out more and they have all been doing great in the tank...

The mushroom...

the blasted thing JUST WON"T STAY PUT! Yes I have a suicidal ricordia. They should have put that in the damn description! pfft!

I didn't realize it wasn't coming attached.. I swear it mocks me! First I tried tucking it in a bit live rock.. estimated time of staying put.. 20 mins...

I turn my back for not even 5 mins.. I look over and its gone!!!! Grrrr.. move the live rock around till i find him and get him out of being crushed from the back UNDERNEATH the rock..

ok so i go out and buy some superglue.. HAHA! I'll make it stay.. glue the little sucker onto an empty half shell that was in the tank..

estimated time of staying put... 15 mins! Just when I think its safe to look away.. I turn back and WHAM its gone again.. (you can now all imagine a little chat bubble over my head is now appearing with some foul language bleeped out).. I go back in to hunt for it..

Ok so now I put it back in the shell and tucked in a corner on the bottom of the tank.. SURROUNDED by small rock pieces (yes I made it alittle walled prison)..

estimated time of staying put 1 night. By morning.. pfft missing.

This has been going on non stop since I received the little guy.. This morning.. AGAIN! I saw him in the front of the tank.. unfortunately I was late for work so I"m sure i'm going to have to hunt him down when I get home.. (stopping at a store for some wedding veil stuff and see if that will help.) God almighty I have a suicidal ricordia..

GRRRRR
