It works well, unless you burn yourself, your home, or anything else around you.

Talk to masterswimmer/saltwatercritters.com about the Majano Wand. The Majano Wand was invented by our very own PaulB.
It is reported to kill not only majano, but aiptasia as well. So if what you have is not aiptasia, but the threaded majano it will still kill them.

Not all peppermint shrimp will do this. You got lucky. The right species and ones that would. I've watched them completely ignore them in other tanks as well as my own. If you get
Lucky they work, if not your out the money.
