that is great. i will add that to the list of why owning a home is a plus. stupid apartment:irked:

as for the whole in the wall, couldn't you just move the stand a couple inches from the wall. it doesn't look like the whole is that deep or do you still have to go in further?

Oh no that was for the old 125. it wasn't drilled and I only had one overflow so i bought a second from a fellow reefer and forgot to measure the depth of it and since my tank was already filled so i couldn't do anything about it but put a hole in the wall

I 2nd on the ledges. It looks awesome tho Steve but if I could work on it, I'll just have some crazy branches sticking all the way almost to the tank front...but that's just me. A lot of tanks nowdays have awesome vertical and horizontal aquascaping but I would use every inch of depth, too. Good work tho! :)

Master just your opinion that what i needed lol. I also second the ledges so I will see how I can in corperate that. Those cans are almost 20 bucks a can and only 2 did half the tank lol. Scarf thats not my tank just some one's i was using as a reference. I want my aqua scape to just be a hil side off the overflow (kinda like jims) so I'll see how i can make those ledges. Maybe use some styrofoam ? as a base >?

ok well the stand is offiicialy done as far as i can get it. the corner and bottom moldings have to wait until the tank and water wieght settle so they will be streight, so I'm told. The tank is gettin drilled monday hopefully and I have ordered all my bulk heads and fittings.

Well it's time to update. No Russ no water yet. I missed my deadline due to... well we'll cell it procrastination. Today I did get half of the back round done. I think it looks nice, however the wife thinks it looks like dog crap and not just figueritively. She thinks it actually looks like my dog chelsea's crap lol. But I told it will look good in the end. I'll try and get some pics up soon. Argh I want this thing done !!!!!

LMAO you spend too much time examining crap bro! :sad2:

With the weather the way its been, you should be working non-stop on it till it's complete. Come on, get it done already. You've got livestock waiting to go 'home'.

Here are some pics of what I did. Theres nothing in it right now, I think I will take my time filling it up but let me know what you think I still have some finishing touches to do on the stand and add some equipment.

Steve, that setup looks AMAZING, even without livestock. You did an outstanding job with the background and the aquascaping. It was worth every moment you put into it. Congrats and lets get the stocking going ;)

I'll see you at your place sometime this week.

Thanks alot russ !!! You know that means alot to me coming from you.

Scarf that piece is about 12 " side to side and like 8-10 out I happen to come across that piece when I was on vacation in CT. I want to try and maybe make some more ledges but I have to see what I have to do it.

But I'm glad you guys like it I actually thought it looked a little flat looking so thats why I put thoes two rubble section towards the front to give it more depth.

Maybe when I get it stocked a little I 'll a tank warming party (LOL) after all the stand is supposed to be a bar ledge.
:)
