hey M/R
This is my project that i started after sandy took down my tank. Since i had to start all over again, i decided to move my tank in wall and back in garage room. I started this project in november and spent plenty of day offs and sundays and weeknights to get this done and thanks to Rob (Jeftica) who gave me his expert advises to make it even better (thanks Rob). So finally i am done and my tank has done cycling and i am starting to add some fishes slowly. Below are some of the pics of rock and aquacape i have done and i have basically put these pieces togather and most of my rock is in my fuge to support bio load. Since i was starting all over i wanted to make sure that i do this right and try to make it better and easier than before. I am adding some of the pics of the tank while the move was in progress. Below is list of equipment i have that i am using.
120 gal Oceanic Tech Tank deep sandbed
50 Gal Sump that holds my media reactors and filter sock
75 Gal refugium with half sandbed and half bare bottom with live rock.
TLF 500 carbon and GFO reactors plumbed with manilfold built to feed these reactors. I have moded these reactors and took design of life reed reactos feed from top and connected with unions
DIY led fixture 36 3w blue led's, 2 100w 25k led's with 120 deg optic, 1 50w hybrid led with no optic, 6 3w red, 4 3w pink, 4 3w green. Color out put when everything on is just breath taking. Camera does not catch the true color. This light will not win the trophy when it comes to looks.
50 gal saltmix station
20 gal long for my clown fishes
10 gal quarantine tank, will go bigger in future,
6 stage rodi unit
genesis auto top off
20 gal tall auto of off tank
Reeflo ORCA 200 protein skimmer
Reeflo dart retun pump that runs everything
Mag 1200 closed look system that i put togather that takes water from the tank and return it back to tank via 4 way ocean-motion. I did not want to see any power heads in the tank
2 3/4" sea swirls one on each side of the tank i built my own brackets that fits my euro brace and came out nice.
