thanks! the collection cup was designed beautiful. It requires zero height to remove. It works similar to a "pvc union".

I'm going to be stocking the tank with a handful of tangs. Tangs are my fav. I also want a Regal angelfish and I also like the lemonpeel angelfish. This tank will have corals so I need to be careful with the angels. I'm leaning towards the Hydra AI for lighting. The tank is DD marineland (48x36).

Thx Jedi for the comment about sandy. It was upsetting to see my 75 gallon tank go up in smoke. This time around it will not happen due to purchasing a generator.

Best of luck with it. I upgraded to the 150 in jan this year. I had a 120 wiped out by sandy as well and instead of setting it back up i waited until i moved and went with the cube
Plumbing looks meticulous and the scaping came out really nice!

Can you explain some of the plumbing? It looks like 2 manifolds one off the pump and one on the drain line? What are you going to use them all for?

I'm looking for some ideas...

The first line off the pump goes to both returns on the tank. The line above is still off the pump and im going to be using this as a manifold for reactors, etc.
