So within the years of experience of reef keeping after leaving the hobby for a while I had decided it was time for a new reef so I chose the hardest tank to have and hard to find equipment for and hardest to find a sump, while everyone doubted a ten gallon could be drilled my friends Angelo went ahead and drilled it for me and guess what everything is DIY even the skimmer the tank is a standard aqueon 10 gallon tank Angelo will post my pics since my phone doesn't allow me to

Are you thinking of media reactors for the sump? I would DIY but depends on what is the easy way to do it plus the cost.

I have 2 tlf reactor for carbon and gfo but I haven't installed them since the tank is cycling and I have many ideas including making a mini calcium reactor
