Tank help. Buy or pass?

I possibly might get this tank but im unsure if where the crack is is a main support or cosmetic? The front and sides are 1 piece and the top and back are separate but molded together. Going to try and post a picture so you can see. Manufacturer is Tenecore.

Move on. Don't buy the tank. I'm certain you will catch a good deal on here. Just be patient. I know it's hard in this hobby. Won't you post a thread in the willing to buy. State the size your looking for and whatever else you may need ie: lights,skimmer,pump,etc. good luck

Go to max reef ask ralph to order you new tank. He get you best price. Other things ok to use used,But the tank holds the water so don't go used. Also strong solid stand best is to make one out of 2x 4 ..i don't think you want water leak in your house.....so in other words pass and pass.

It seems that you've already made up your mind, but it may be a 'useable/fixable' tank depending on where the crack is, and if it's actually a crack or split. I have a Tenacor acrylic tank that is over 20 yrs old, and is still in great shape.

What size tank, and how much $?

The crack is on the top part of the tank. A Halide light fell on in burned a hole in it and it cracked . The tank is a 120g with a center overflow. $100
going to try and upload a picture again. Kept giving me issues yesterday.

That's the same tank I have, (with rounded front corners, right)... Probably an easy fix, depends if brace is also warped from MH...but how scratched up is it? Price sounds a little high if it needs a lot of buffing and the top repair

Yes the front is rounded at the sides. Thats where the crack is right in the center of the 2 openings. There's a decent amount of scratches but when water is in it dont really notice. But they are there

You can fix that but that tank looks really tall and opening for the lights suck. Think would only make an ok fish only tank not reef.
