Tom's 5g fluval chi

Hey guys,

I have a 5g fluval chi that is not being used. I have my 75 reef in the living room and the 5g in the bedroom. What can I use this tank for?

I'm thinking just maybe some ls, lr and making it full of zoas. No fish probably due to the size but maybe some inverts / shrimp. What do you guys think? Open to all/any ideas just want something small.

Should work, I had a nice 6 gal reef going for a while. If you do go with sand, don't use a lot, collects a ton if detritus and causes issues

I started with a 5g fluval chi which I traded to a member. Go for a softies tank. With a clown goby and sexy shrimp. Really neat tank.

Theres a member on Nano-reef who has a 5 gal chi bare bottom if im not mistaking. Look it up, I believe she still has it.

Ok I won't use a lot of sand, maybe ill even do bare bottom. Not going to start it up just yet but I have some live rock in my sump on my main tank I can use for this.

Sexy shrimp is what I want. I love them. Maybe a goby but not too sure yet.

So I was thinking to cut down on electric, is there anything I can do with this tank that would be energy efficient?

Even no livestock maybe grow food or something for my main tank?
