93 Gallon cube build

Hey guys, this is my new tank thread. Setting up now, Ill post updates as I go along. So far this is whats going into it.


Tank:
93 gallon marineland cube aquarium
30x30 marineland stand


Sump/filtration:
Eshopps R100 refugium
Mag 9.5 return pump
Bubble Magnus Curve 5 skimmer
BRS phosphate/GFO reactor w/ maxijet 900 pump
6500k bulb for refugium light


Waterflow:
Jaebo WP40
Ecotech vortech MP10ES


Heater:
Enheim-Jaeger 250W


Lighting:
Ecotech Radion Gen 2 pro w/ecotech RMS


Controller:
Reefkeeper Lite


That's it for hardware right now will add/change as I go along. Going to have Tahitian black moon sand as substrate and build some kind of rock structure. Once all is cycled I will transfer all the live stock/corals out of my 55 gallon. Excited to finally get this going.

I had this tank. I would suggest getting two lights. if you need any help let me know

I was debating on two, I may go there in the future but I'm not a big sps guy. More LPS and zoa and some deep water stuff so we will see how everything responds to the one.

I had this tank also just the rimless version. .great dimensions but I would also look into getting a second light down the road. .1 light just does not light the tank enough..I had 2 ai hydras on mine

Heres the latest. Time has been getting away so I don't have water in it like I wanted yet. That should be tonight. all else is plumbed and I'm mounting whatever I can at this point.

Tanks in position, everything mounted and cleaned up decent for now. put maybe a half gallon in my overflow last night to test the bulkheads for leaks. All good. Sand, rock and 40 gallons water tonight.

Water finally going in. 40 gallons last night and ill do 20 more a day until its running. I only have a 20gallon brute for mixing salt. Have 50lbs dry rock in there now and will make up the difference with rock from the other tank. Should be in full cycle by sunday.

Well. The latest update is I got the tank and sump 100% full. Started the system and wiggled th return pipe up top slightly because I was spraying water in the sump, not on the floor thankfully. Fixed that problem but in turn wiggling the pipe caused a slight drip from the bulk head. Needless to say had to empty the overflow and remove the sump and have to fix the bulkhead. Update from this should be soon. Still love this stuff though

Update! Tank finally running and no leaks. Just my net top and ecotech light mount and we are aet to go. Cycle has finally began. With some live rock hopefully it shouldn't take too long.

Tank up and running finally, all corals and fish transfered, finally got my Ecotech RMS to mount my radion. Everythings looking good and the few fish i have are happy. Now time to start adding more things slowly. Ill continue to update as things move forward
