WOW! What an amazing setup. So well thought out and put together.

How long have you been in the hobby? did you have a tank before this one?

So what sort of livestock is going in? mixed reef, etc.... full SPS system?

All the planning and great choices in equipment are paying off. The tank looks spotless!!!! I give up trying to save on electricity.....ends up costing me more in salt and dead corals :D

Awesome setup, and great plumbing work. Very creative with the batteries.

Is the return from MRC Skimmer underwater? What do you do about microbubbles from the skimmer?

I'm using an MR2 that has the return under water due to the height of the cabinet and am trying to do something about the microbubbles. My tank thread is in the signature for pictures.

The return for the skimmer originally was slightly above waterline but with 1600gph+ coming out of it made it loud and lots of splashing. I added a 90 with a filter sock and no bubbles or sound what so ever.

Do you have an issue with back siphoning? I have a T on the 1.5" return inside the tank with a pipe above waterlevel. I think I'll only be able to get a 4" filter sock on there but that's on order so I need to wait.
