Here's the 92 gal corner "Tank Thread.":fish:
All props to the MR family for coming through once again!
I can't thank you guys enough.
It was a hectic time with moving all day Saturday (which I'm still doing).
Thanks a million to Deanos & Froggie!
It was so rough, I called House to cancel for the next days tank move. House ignored my plea (working on only 3 hours sleep & not having extra water made), he came down with a car full of water & supplies & gave me the energy for the tank move.
Then comes Jhale (with more water & supplies), SlamaJama & Deanos (for the 2nd day in a row).
Thanks a bunch guys! :grouphug:
I looked beat & they took control of the situation & did the best job ever.
Breaking down my 65 gal with all the live stock, transporting them to the new place , making numerous trips back & forth (& also to Home-Depot...).
After the set-up was complete (leveling, plumbing, filling the tank, etc.), we were only a sump short of water.
All of the live-stock were still in buckets / rubbermaids, so I planned on making more water overnight & placing the livestock into the main tank the next morning...
Later on that night, House called to check on things.
When I told him the situation, he once again offered his assistance & came all the way back to the BX & started working on the tank (even when I wasn't even there!).
I came in & he was knocking everything out, like the expert he is (heating / making water, etc.) & had the tank running with all the live-stock inside in no time.
Tank is now running perfect & all the live-stock are doing great!
(one loss being an Alveopora, which was already stressed before all this kaos).
I also have to give a big shout to Fritz for looking out for me, dibbing & calling me with a heads up on a Eheim return pump he knows I was looking for, he saw on RC!
With the move & having no internet service, I come in this morning to find out that he purchased it & is having it on the way to the BX.
(I gotcha son).
Moral of this story.......MR family ROCKS!
You guys are the best.
I didn't get a chance to take any pics, because I'm living out of boxes at the moment, but I know House snapped some. Jim Please do the honors.
Thanks for coming through they way you guys did, in a rough time.
Sincerely,
Phil & family-
