Manny, I love your setup. The smaller tank next to the big one adds a little something. Just a females point of view here. I have been wanting to do this with my tank, just not sure how I would work it out. It really looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thats not a Cowfish, they have "horns", that is a Yellow Boxfish (Ostracion cubicus). It can get huge, but I've never seen one survive in captivity to get very big. They are also releas toxins when they die IIRC. Keep an eye on it and good luck with the little guy.

Thanks Awibrandy
I love the two different styles. There is no power in there... all gravity fed off the 90 into the sump, easy to set up and remove if needed.

Psycho graphic,
You are correct sir! It is an Ostracion cubicus. I know it will outgrow my 20 (he's smaller then my pinky nail now) and I will find him a bigger home at that point. I was aware of the toxins, that is why there is no other fish going in there to bother and stress him out. At this point if he doesn't make (is eating like a little pig btw), his toxin level can't be that large:scratchch. His name will be kamikaze if he makes it passed the 10 day mark in the tank.:biglaugh:

Thanks Rich, I actually though I would get some s$:t for its location but it went the other way:teeth:. I had to put it there cause of limited storage space. and now I'm gald because I can get in the tank from all angles

can u post a pic of how the chiller is setup
sure.
It's on a closed loop thru the chiller then returned thru a sea swirl @ <850gph

first pic is the feed in the tank and the third is the mess I had while I was still cycling but you can see some plumbing.

sorry you can't really tell in the third

The flexible pvc making that bend is the feed and the clear tubing crossing the ball valve is the return

also the chiller is controlled by an Aquacontroller 2

I was reading though your tank log and I was wondering, how do you keep a harlequein shrimp and a brittle starfish together? I was 100% sure that harlequein shrimp eat starfish as part of their diet. Other then that........Nice Setup!! :)
They do... just not this one:wink1:. Actually, I think he a serpent star. I'd put my money on the star. I feed the Harlequin sandsifting stars that I keep in the "farm":shhh:

Here's a pic of him in my old tank
Thanks for the compliment btw:biggrin:

lol... I don't have that many.
I keep 2 live stars in the smaller tank, when the harlequin is done with one I'll drop another one in. I do not grow them, I have to buy them:(.
