Oh so sad, in the shot, you missed the trigger when he is sleeping in the open enjoying the bright light! It so cute. My triggers always have their heads in the rocks when sleeping.

what substrate or material should i transplant them to once they star to propagate? hopefully i'll be giving the xenia away.

Any type of rock rubble you have laying around. Xenias aren't picky just put it next to the xenia and it will attach itself in a couple of days. I've had them attach to PVC, Shells, eggcrates.
