I’m back! 120g tank thread

So it has been roughly 7 years away from the hobby but as we all know you can never stay away for ever. More to come on my tank but I had to post a pic since I just picked up 90 Ibs of rock from Absolutely Fish today after having 80 Ibs of base rock and live sand in the tank for a couple weeks. Their annual sale is going on so I got a great deal on the rock which was a bonus! Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic will update this thread with equipment and quality pics soon.

Thanks, Charlie. Running 3 x Viparspectra 165w LED at 5%. Researched the most on the lights since LED were just hitting the market when I was last in the hobby. Based on reviews and price point I decided on these. They look great, save money, and so much less heat than MH. The shimmer isn’t as nice as MH but the pros outway the cons. Hope to update more pics and equipment this week.

Getting impatient but good news is levels are all good with only a mini cycle from adding rock from LFS! Maybe fish next weekend if all continues well.

Crazy good. Added two Jebao OW40 power heads. Running at 50% they comminicate great and make an awesome wave in the tank. Also super quiet. Cannot beat the price!

Some updated pics. I added crown molding and top to canopy along with molding around base of tank and floor. Also, added some occupants!
