Photos Nano build

Been out of the hobby for 10 years and just got back in with a Reefer Nano. Much smaller than the 46 bowfront with diy just about everything that I previously had setup, but the current setup with internal overflow and sump is 100x better thanks to Red Sea and a little DIY. Starting out clean with my old rock and sand as well as RO/DI so hoping to have a better start than my first run.

Love the Reefer so far in overall design, aesthetics, and overall quality.

I couldn't help myself with some DIY add ons. Added a ball valve to the return pump (not sure why). Also found the perfect size skimmer and built a baffle to separate the filter sock/skimmer area from a refugium I wanted. Watching the micro bubbles (thanks to the skimmer) circulate in the refugium the cheato should get some nice flow and rotation. Cord management was intended to be a little cleaner, but as the equipment got plugged in well.....

Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think!
