I am ready to post my info about my 125 gallon and I have pictures as well.

125 Gallon - 72x18x22 (Perfecto)
Pine stand (Local LFS had a private carpenter...saved me $400)
3-4 inches of live sand (Flying Fish Express)
100 lbs. of Live Rock (Harbor Aquatics)
Turboflotor 1000 Multi Hang-on-Back (Aquabee pump)
CAP 2200F Powerhead (About 650 gph)
Won Pro 300W Titanium heater
Ice Cap 660 Ballast
4 - 110 W VHO 48" Fluorescent lights (2 50/50 and 2 10,000K by Coralife)

No sump, no plenum

The Icecap 660 ballast has a maximum wattage of 440W. 4' VHO's are 110W, 5' VHO's are 140W, and 6' VHO's are 160W. That means 4x48" (440W), 3x60" (420W), or 2x72" (320W) since adding anymore bulbs in those configurations put it over the ballast limit.

So, I actually get the most wattage with 4x48" VHO bulbs. This leaves 12" on either side of the canopy, but I reduce this further by staggering the lights, so that 2 are about 6" to the left, and 2 are 6" to the right. Sort of like this
