The tank is 48" X 12" X 12" glass. The sump is a 10 gal glass tank. The refugium is a 4 gal Rubbermaid dishpan. There are about 70 lbs. of Fiji LR in the system and about 60 lbs. of purearagonite. The return pump is a CAP 2200 which feeds about 480 gph to two DIY surgemakers. The Red Sea Berlin Classic is run by a CAP 2200 also. There are no other pumps in the tank. Refugium is fed by a tee off the return pump and returns to the sump via a 3/4" bulkhead. The sump and refugium are lit by two 55W Hamilton PCs (10000K and actinic) on a reverse daylight schedule for 12 hours. The tank is lit by one Iwasaki 250W 6500K MH for 8 hours and two Hamilton 55W PCs (same as above) for 12 hours. Water is R/O from a full size Kent Hi-S at 35gpd. Salt mix is Instant Ocean. The topoff is a DIY gravity fed glass carboy. Average evaporation is about 3 gallons a week which is replaced with Kent Kalkwasser (1 tsp per gallon) and 1 tsp Kent Sr and Mb supplement and 1 tsp Kent I supplement. pH is read with a pinpoint pH meter at 8.30-8.40. Ca is 380 mg/L and Alk is 10dKH with Salifert test kits. Temp is kept at 80 degrees, salinity at 1.026. The livestock are: 2 Maroon clowns, one Caribbean pygmy angel, one sally lightfoot crab, two cleaner shrimp, two brittle stars, 20 turbo snails, countless mushrooms, some brown button polyps, and as of right now no clams or LPS YET!!!
