Hi All!

First and foremost- I am an official noob to the reef hobby. I have been keeping live plants in my 30gal fresh for a few years. Check it at: www.pbase.com/aquascaping/erict

My new salt is a 30 gallon reef tank, live sand, live rock, a goby, tang, clownfish, starfish and shrimp. I will post more details later- I havent got the thing yet. Its a friends, I am inheriting it soon...

It is a stable system right now... but at a whopping 1 watt per gallon and with a very weak protien skimmer/filter combo, I am definately upgrading it soon. Might even buy a new tank to dump everyone into, for starters.

I will post any upgrades I do into this thread.

30 gal tank + stand
$150 of live rock
2" of live sand
rio 800 pump (for circulation)
Light timer
Light Canopy (Some odd 30 Watts or so)
300w heater
150w heater

Stocked with:

Clown Tang
Percula Clown
Orange spotted goby
Serpent starfish
Peppermint shrimp
