So my Friend Frank Arriaga from the site is building a 265Gal in wall tank and it's in the planning stages. Here's a few details:

The dimensions would be 84l x 24w x 30H 265Gal
Front Starfire and one side, external overflow
The fish room will most likely have a humidity controlled fan to deal with that issue. It will also incorporate a refugium and sump, so the total water volume is still unknown.

He will chime in later on with more details.

He's looking for a good custom tank manufacturer to build the tank. Any ideas? And what would a tank with those specs cost?

Rich, just curious what are their complaints? I know i heard somewhere about their neatness with silicone. Is that one of them?

I checked out their prices and they don't seem bad, although after adding in the starphire, i am sure the cost will go up. Maybe he can just do the front only.

Don't get me started about Glass Cages. (do a search)

Go with another company. Spend the money on a good tank and get quaility work. GC is not quality. It's cheap.

check miracles in glass and ocean image aquariums.

Don't get me started either about glass cages. (sorry Rich) But in my experience they $uck. God forbid they do something that you did not put on your order or mess up and send you the tank. it's yours to keep. Customer service $ucks. Company $ucks. I side with Brett. do a search. I've always said if your going to invest money on a tank like that. Don't have a low budget, or just buy a smaller tank. Tanks that size should be done right from the get go.. miracles in glass is the way to go.remember this. Go with glass cages and you would get what you paid for it. There customer service is so bad, i would not recommend to my worst enemy.....

I'll recommend http://www.aquariumobsessed.com/ you can see their work at greenwich aquaria. give Jason a call and get a quote from him. he can bring in multiple tanks and help save on the shipping cost.
I agree with brett and david, you get what you pay for. I would not try to go cheap on a tank that size, it's not worth it in the end.

OK guys, placed order for tank from miracles aquariums its is a 265 gal with a 90 gal refugium it wil have a external overflow with two 1.5 '' holes on the left side on tank and four 1''holes for the returnon the back front and rigth side will be starphire glass.it will also have eurobrace. I will try to post pictures of where the tank room will be built. Excuse the mess, but I was recently flooded and making repairs to the downstairs. The wife gets to remodel and I get to build my fish room. Will keep post updated with pictures. Will start tank room within three weeks. Tanks will be delivered within seven weeks. Please advise which pump I should use. I will also have two Tunze 6100 Steams. I will buy two more if needed, but I would like to keep these on the bottom on the tank and have enough flow with the pump for the center and surface. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you guys. Will keep you guys updated.

frank did you ask them how they are going to cover up the overflow so you cannot see it from the inside of the aquarium. i had that problem with the company who built my tank because i forgot to think about that..

best of luck and post them pics when you get em frank ;)...

Yes Tony, I discussed it with Pedro, my friend. Which I am sure that you know him. He advised me not to have the tank painted black, so when I was behind in the fish room I could see whats going on from behind the tank. We discussed about putting a removeable material which I still have to look into. I think that I am going to call miracle aquarium and have them paint the left side where the overflow is going. Thanks for the input.

Frank,

Definitely go with some type of black acrylic to cover the back. Kudos to Pedro for the idea. I never would have thought about being able to look at the tank from the fish room.
