Hey everyone I moved to long island (Port Jefferson) in the fall and finally I am setting up my reef. When I was out west for school I was part of utahreefs.com and now manhattanreefs will be my new home for a while. I have had various reefs from large to small and I decided in my new apartment to go with an aga 26 bow, small I know but have been leaning toward nano reefs and I didn't want to go with a cube.

So far the specs are as follows:

26 bowfront aga w/stand (not drilled, painted back black w/ krylon fusion)
Aqua C Remora w/ pre skimmer box and maxi-jet 1200
Sunpod 24" 14k 150 watt HQI w/ 6 blue & 6 white LEDS
20+lbs of Haitian live rock (Probably add a little more later)
Carib Sea fine sand with pink specs 20lbs
RO/DI Aquasafe (hooks right up to the sink, nice for apt. living)
Black submersible heater

This is the setup so far. I'm in the process of cycling it and I'll post some pics soon. If you have any questions about the equipment or just want to make a comment feel free to post away.

I bought two Koralia #1's from Dr Foster & Smith. They are awesome. Quiet yet powerful, and the #1's aren't that big IMO. I will post some pics later. Oh and I changed the rock around a little bit.

Forgot to add that I haven't introduced any livestock yet other than the rock, its still cycling. I've done a few water changes and I think the increased circulation was greatly needed.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

I have the Koralias pointing forward and a little upward. They are not messing with the sand too much but they definately have the potential to do some major sand shifting.

inline6 just started looking through your thread, the ideas are flowing through my head. Thanks
