Tank Specifications:
Main tank: 65gal 48”x 12”x 26” deep 4 x 65-watt JBJ PC light fixture 60+ lbs. LR with a 6” DSB. Two penguin 660 powerheads.

Refugium: 32gal 24”x 18”x 18” gravity feed to main tank from pre-filter. Various types of macro algae & a 4” DSB. Two standard 20-watt florescent lights, 150-watt heater.

Pre-Filter/sediment tank: 32gal 24”x 18”x 18”with a custom surface overflow, about 30 lbs. of LR, Two standard 20-watt florescent lights. Hagen 802 provides water to fuge.

Sump: 32gal 24”x 18”x 18” Rio 2800ss return pump (still running good after a year???) 200-watt heater, And a DIY counter current 4’ skimmer.

Cool setup.
One question what are the PVC's going into the sand bed on the pre filter tank (middle one) ?

The two 1-1/2" bulkheads are just drain lines that just go to a 2" "Tee" thats under the sand & comes up to a custom surface overflow. I have re-worked this prefilter a little since that pic! I have removed the sand & I'm only using one of the two 1-1/2 bulkheads. I still have the same surface overflow.
