What are your thoughts? I am working on a new skimmer, the via aqua is way too loud, but it does skim nicely, I will be using it on my QT.

Hi, Welcome to Reefs.org
For the most part your setup looks good. There are a few things I would change though. First the cap pump, I had one of these go out on me a long time ago and everything died. I would replace it with a mag drive. That would be well worth the money. Second I would do a little bigger water changes, instead of 10gal do 15 or 20 monthly.

Your lighting stinks. I would bet your anemones are prolly already dead. Please for the sake of the coral don't add any coral or light-dependant animals until you improve your lighting

better lighting arrived on march 3rd.
setup completed on march 8th

pc 6x65 =390 watts =5.20 watts per gallon

anemones alive and well...
