Yeah i know inanother thread i said i was just ognna sell it.. but... i just couldent do it lol so now i have it filled with salt water and circulated by 2 rio's and 1 sio it was 4 rio's but the BROKE and the only thing in there is water... it isnt like somthing jammed it lol

i have a website that has info and pictures on it.. that may be updated moreoften due to file tranfer... wont have to edit them... so i may link to the pictures on site instead of posting them the site is www.Directphish.com or www.insanereef.com

tank is apx. 150 gallons 60 inch long 24 wide and 24 deep

it has a black back to show off the colors of the fish
when i get my rock i will not do a reef wall but instead 2 reef walls in the corners leaving part of the back of the tank showing.. yeah im a loser i made it in a 3D CAD program. program wasnt very good and it was hard ot move the camera so i kinda stoped O_O

THE tank will have a closed loop that is powered by a mag 9.5 it will use 2 siphon's and yes they will both ( shocker) have a siphon bearkiing hole incase there is a leak and a nother problom. After comin out of the pump it will go to an omss the 4 ports will be comblined intwo two pipes. they will go back into the tank one on each side and come out of a huge manifol hidden in the rocks ( about 2 ft by 2 ft) havent decided how to do this yet.... either run the manifold so it leand s on the sid eof tankand run pipes to front of lr to let it out. or actualy build manifol with hundres of little holes into the rock strucker
what ever i do its better then what you have ( JKJK it will be better then my last tank with 2 MJ PH) the omss wll only com on every few hours . ( basicaly using it like a cheep actuator)

im gonna try to post a pict. not too happy bout having to host from my site as it cost money for the data tansfer. but your all worth it ( plus someday i hope to get my bussiness running so i wont even knotice datatransfer in small amounts that this will use.

Behind a tank what do we all want? A TANK ROOM!!!!! but i live in condo so it will be hard to do... ( when /if i move to an actual house i will do better... BUT houseing prices in broward county fl are going up like crazy. ( 8 yrs ago house i first got was 200k sold it for 500. now it is over 1 million... and this house was huge. current place was 400k and it is tiny.. condo like i said) maby inwestern sunrise i could live. small but ncie houses... GOD THIS SUCKS. bad hting about condo's is if ur nabor has aproblom.. you have a problom. if they have insects so do oyu. they have a fire you have a fire. ( sureit is new construction and all concreat but..... still..... i dunt htink ill move cause this tank is so much work to set up

tnak room. i managed to make one.
FIRST we had to demolish the current closets. we found that there was about 3 sq ft of space that they WASTED literaly the closet ends and hten behind it is 3 more ft to the concreat outer wall!!!

MY ro unit htat i got from Homedepot for 9.95 YES TEN BUCKS!!!!! ok well 50 cause i had to replace the membrain but still.... 10gpd ro unit and a 3 gallon pressure tank.... cant beat that deal!

only thing lice about the rc site is the user cp shows all the subscribed threads. here it mails ya them and that is odd because this site uses phpbb and i used that befor. and mine had the usercp. anyways

is nice livin where they are still building stuff as there is tons of discarded pvc around ( discarded meaning they used half and set it down for the night HEY I NEEDED IT)

i decided im going to make a 3 ft tall bioball tower. its more to help cool the water then to help with the cycle. also. this (should) stop the gurgling noise that i am getting. because the tower will replace the drain pipe.
now befor any of you say nitrate factory. several things. 1 .. 50 gallon refuge... and 2... im coming up with a way to clean the balls usuing a pump to shoot water up throu them. it should work.

bought some sand and some fine crushed coral added it to the tank a fewdays ago and it is just now starting to settle down. still need more.

guy at lfs tried to convince me that i should buy live sand and kept bugging me about how its better... i told him that i knew he was on commision and wanted me to pay twice as much the less sand and that when buying livesand your paying for water ( not sure if htey count water into the weight so it may of been BS but it shut him up and for that im glad)
im gonna start claning some rock that i found so i can use it as base rock

the 150 is done. no more work will be done to it as of jan 28 2006. the tank in incompleat and will be slowly dismantled
once again i have learned alot while building it so now once i move i will be able to set up a better sytem ( 280 glass possible with a 150 growout / fuge and a 55 fuge)
