Tanks currently 6 months old. Here is a full tank shot while i take more pictures.
Recently added a litremeter doser for alk and calc and added a vortec for a better flow in the tank. <3 the vortec, i have no dead spots at all and the wireless controller is amazing at setting different wave and flow patterns.
And i finally was able to get a pic last night of why i have to keep the heater in the tank .......
Better that than having to fish him out of the overflow once a week.
Nice tank. I put a deposit on a 65rr from a MR member. Have to pick it up and get started on it. I have some questions - 1.) How often do you have to feed the harley's? 2.) Doesn't the trigger go after your shrimp? 3.) Is your tank not a little overloaded - with the trigger and tang at least?
I had to get rid of the trigger when it started nipping at a few fish. right now its only the baby hippo which is only 2" and a bunch of wrasses, a clown, and a flame angel. I'm pushing the limit on the bioload but my tank filtration can support it and i'm water changing enough where it doesn't affect anything.
My P04 is reading just barely .05 on the elos, all my parameters are stable and where they are supposed to be and tries/trates are at 0. Pretty sure the Po4 is getting a reading from the new salt i am mixing in because the tripic marin salt is high in Po4 (o.14 i think or somewhere there). That along with me beeing lazy shaking and adding bacteria to my ultralith reactor lately.
Few pics that i snapped today quickly. Don't have time for more and i got frustrated with my camera.
Zebra thorny urchin crab. Hosts urchins, didn't like mine and started hosting coral. Been under this chalice for 3 days, hope he stays =0) Really cool critter.
And a nice pic of my wrasse coming out for a photoshoot.
