This is another 55 gallon I just started about 2 months ago.
55 gallon standard Sea Clear acrylic tank
2 48" 40w URI actinic white bulb
2 48" 40w URI actinic 03 bulb ( Will be upgrading to VHO after I get my skimmer)
DIY overflow
1" drain to the sump w/durso stand pipe
1" closed loop powered by a Quite One 3000 (780gph) for now (will be upgrading to a Ocean Runner 3500)
Rio 2100 return pump (for now will be upgrading to a Ocean Runner 2500)
15 gallon tall AGA DIY sump
60lbs live rock
30lbs base rock
1-1.5" crushed coral and aragonite reef sand bed
soon to get Coralife super skimmer
Fish
1 yellow tang
2 mated clowns
2 blue/green chromis (had 3 but the brittle star ate one)
had 1 green clown goby but the brittle star ate him to DAM IT!!!!
1 fancy brittle star (soon to be in a friends tank)
about 20 diffrant snails
about 12 blue leg hermets
1 conch
alot of green mushrooms
alot of green star pylops
1 kenya tree coral
1 green finger lether coral
some Xenia
a few fuzzy green mushrooms
a hand looking leather I dont know the name of
