This is my 29 gallon tank. Everything in it is from the atlantic/carribean. I live pretty close to the Mayport inlet (which connects the St Johns River to the ocean) whats amazing is a piece of rock from the inlet has more diversity (copepods, plants, sponges) than a piece of 30 dollar live rock. This tank is FILLED with SWARMS of copepods. Im going to give it a little longer and I may put a dragon in here. I am letting the algae get out of hand on purpose (not diatoms but the plant type algaes). I will keep them off the glass though. I like the mossy look of overgrown rocks.
The BIGGEST sweetness about this tank is the fact that the lighting consists of a 12 dollar shoplight from Lowes. They are 40 watt 48 inch bulbs. One is a full spectrum sun light, and the other is specially designed for plant growth. And the plants are already spreading.
Species list
6 quohog clams (GREAT for cleaning)
multiple STONE CRABS
ATLANTIC ANEMONE
SHRIMP
Unidentified Crabs
Tons of Worms and Feather dusters
