ok i got a 24g ap set-up. ty frank. which will be my next project. not sure of what i want to use it for. but was leaning towards a frag tank with 1 or 2 fish. will post pic's. it is drilled for a drain and has a sump with it. just got to sit down and plan it out. and thinking of using a mh on this and going bb. would love to go with a t5 set-up for it but can't seem to find a set-up for it. { have t5's on my main tank and love them } so if anyone knows where t5's for this can be bought please lmk. more to come. ty rick

Sounds like a great project. What size hood is on it maybe you could do a retro kit in thier.

the smallest T5 HO bulb is 24"...if your tank is smaller than that you will have to use something some other form of lighting.

Rick, a single 150w MH bulb in there would look great. You know I'm a fan of the T5's, but sometimes it doesn't work and there are options. You saw mine today. Not the prettiest sight, but it works and it can be enclosed in a DIY canopy if need be.

I have 12" T5 that are 2 x 8W each. Couple of my nano tanks come in that configuration. I can check if I can get them in retro format but it will take time or I can consider parting them out. I have only 10,000K bulbs in the mean time but you can supplement the blue with LEDs(which I like more)
