I have been out of the hobby for a little while and i finally stopped procrastinating and went for it. all critiques are welcome.
1st let me say a thanks for all help and advice that i have recieved recently through this whole adventure:

i have a oceanic 120 tech tank with front starfire glass. i started out looking at all the equipment that i had and figured it was time to make some mods so that the wife would be happy again having the tank in the living room. so i started to plan and ultimately i came up with this ---- I NEED MORE SPACE! I then embarked on a new building of a cabinet to match the existing stand and i built a canopy for it. i started out with some nice 4X2 nice sanded wood. i cut them to match the tank stand and then put a door on them. the canopy i made i open from the top and did all the molding with a 45 degree cutter. i also used a sawzaw and a buzz saw for all the cuts. other tools are levels screw gun, leveler, 1"inch nails primer, paint and polyeurathane. so here is where i am starting this at the very begining.
