nice work so far adam!

word to the wise. i would go and shoot for a host coral over a anemone ina tank that size. its gonna get big quick and move around a little. then multiply eventually and turn out to be more hassle than its worth. although the look pays off in the end.

Whatever you do its gonna look great though =0)

yeah its cycled :)

as of yesterday the params were:

Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate- 5
Ph - 8.2
SG - 1.025

Im making my water for the weekly 5 gallon change... so hopefully tomorrow the nitrates will be down to almost none. Next on my list is a Phosban Reactor (I'm trying to buy Kigs Ato but he hasn't responded in days) - and then maybe a HOB filter to actively run carbon.

Looks great!
No pics of the clean up crew? :(
I'd be watchful of water flow behind the rocks. Placing rocks in corners can inhibit water flow and allow all sorts of mung to collect back there. You may want to blow water back there during water changes to make sure it stays clean.
Also please post more pics! :)

Hahaha, sort of.

When I had this tank I was going to use a single phosban reactor to run both carbon and phosban. I planned on getting another plate from TLF and two extra sponges. I was going to cut the main tube and add in another plate in the middle of the reactor. This way there would be two separate chambers in the reactor, one for carbon, the upper for phosban.

Don't listen to people who say that carbon needs more flow, that is ridiculous.

New FTS

There's a few mushrooms in there that got washed out because the Halide is too super bright.

Thanks for the tip's on the turkey baster!

and also a big Thanks to Phil (Devious) and Bob1000!!!

My salinty swung when i went on vacation with my girlfriend and the maze coral wasnt looking so well... if it wasn't for their solid advice i would be down one coral. It's rebounding and eating mysis happily.
