i lost 6 sps already i dont no what the hell is going on with the chemistry in this tank. i bumped up the alk manually to 10 and i had it dosing at 21ml a day and now its at 11.3 i lowered it to 7 ml a day for now im getting really annoyed.....

Whenever my tanks get crazy i just do a nice big water change and start from scratch!
just a thought.

well im going to let it run at 7ml a day for the week and see where it gets me.. im not going to touch anything and see where it goes. magnesium is at 1410 so ill update a week from now :irked:

Sorry to here your having troubles, If you need help LMK. Are you using B ionic or randy 2 part? Id just stay at 7 ml for a week then check where your at and raise it accordingly. I have had losses from overdosing alk by accident in the past so i think thats what happened to you.

ok so i checked the alk again today when i got home from my hunnys house and its been dosing at 7ml a day and the alk test came out to to around 10.7 dkh which isnt bad. so ill leave it like this until sunday and see what it reads then
