Did you use a tap water conditioner in your tank for the new water you made? If so it is probably what is causeing your skimmer to over bubble.

No, i dont have an ro/di unit, so i am still using petco boxed water and jugs of distilled for topoffs. an expensive holdover from when i was running the nano.

i was thinking about tossing a sac of phosban in the sump to see if it is high Po4. i dont have any test kits for it, and my nitrates are low (<10ppm) maybe that will help.

jrobbins, be careful with using those distilled packaged water, some of those brands might have used copper cooling coils. the only way to make sure is calling the manuftr.

I will check it out.

Right now I am using poland springs distilled water. Anybody have any experience with this stuff?
