thank you....the tank started as FO with crushed coral, under gravel filter and wet/dry. It slowly evolved into a reef probably in the early 90's. That coral on the bottom left was one of my first corals, Frogspawn, about 15 years ago and if I didn't frag it ...it would literally would be larger than the tank. I just sold about 25+ heads of it to Awilda here on the boards....

i was thinking it was frog spawn, but it actually looks slightly different to me than other froggies for some reason. either way wow it is some impressive piece! and 15+ years old, wow.

Tom..whos says you can't have a trigger in a reef..LOL..There are some species like the niger trigger I have, the blue troat etc.. that are considered reef safe...From what I have read it's basically the shape of the mouth which is slighly upwards which makes them more of a mid-water feeder as opposed to others like a Huma Huma, clown etc..which is more forward and tend to pick more at rockwork etc.., but it's still chancy if there are small shrimp in the tank..I don't so mine has been a model citizen.
