OK FIRST TY TO pmoneyt FOR THE AP 12G DX, AS THIS WILL BECOME A SEAHORSE AND PIPE FISH TANK FOR MY DAUGHTER, IN PROCCESS OF MAKING A MINI PHOS AND CARB REACTOR AS THERE ISN'T MUCH SPACE FOR ONE AND REALLY DON'T WANT ONE HANGING OFF THE BACK. ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS IF THE LIGHT'S AREN'T TURNED ON THE LED DONT COME ON NOR DO THE FAN'S, SO I AM GOING TO WIRE IT WITH SWITCH'S TO TURN EACH ON AND OFF SEPARATELY, WILL POST PIC'S TONIGHT

new tank

ok after lot more reading and seeing what care and requirements are needed for these after qt'ing them in this tank i think i am going to partially convert my 50g for them. i'll just have to take one ph out and move the other 2 more towards the top so that there will be a few low flow area's. but here is what i got, and this tank will eventually house 2 nemo's and a anenome, plus i have 2 pipefish

Nice Rick !!! So the pod will house the clowns and pipefish ? What type of pipefish is that ? Looks really nice I like that and the box fish. Still no livestock in my little cube lol.

Dragon Pipefish (Corythoichthys haematopterus)

Looking good Rick! Make sure you keep the tank loaded with pods. Those pipefish are not likely to eat frozen foods (maybe cyclopeeze). I think you are adding BBS so that will be good food for them too.

seahorse

ok havent up dated this for awhile, only thing in tank is some snails hermits a single seahorse and my ruby red head wrasse which will be gone soon, in total iver changed out about 3-4 gallons since setting it up, i use no skimmer have pura complete in first compartment, few mangroves in second and stuffed the 3rd with cheato, lighting is 2 8w t5's ty steve mj 600 is the only flow in the tank and getting crazy coraline growth. go figure low light low flow. the seahorse will only eat spirula brine shrimp use to go to the trough and eat mysis but one time and now it only eats live pods brine and the spirula brine, little slow bugger is hard to get a pic of, he or she goes from all black to like this white grey and black
