I think i am going to add some Mangroves to the fuge...I hear they keep your water pristine, eliminating nitrates, phosphates, and some other stuff

I think it is time to start fragging my giant colt coral in the 45G...growing way to large, and is starting to annoy the Favia brain coral that sits next to it, along with my hairy mushrooms...my clove polyps have begun to take over another rock next to it, lots of new coralline growth...THe 20G is coming along very nicely.

The corals are really starting to color up in the last few weeks...the large purple rim monti has gotten all of its color back plus some :D...If the remember correctly the tank it came out of had a mild temperature swing and sort of pissed it off a little so the edges were white rather then purple...The little frag that broke off in the car on the way home has already begun to grow...tanks parameters all seem to be in check, i am trying the Chemi-pure Elite, to see what difference it will make if any...i used to use the stuff at my home in CT due to higher phosphate levels, but NYC seems pretty clear...

Also picked up the Phoenix 14K bulb from an MR vendor, it looks amazing, love the color...now lets see the growth i will get from this thing :D

Picked up a little cleaner shrimp for the tank as well, they are nice to keep, funny when they try to clean your arm off.

Just hit up LI LFS Mutts and Butts...nice store...just picked up some dry goods, filter floss, brine shrimp, a syringe (to eliminate the 3 aptasia i have...hahahahahahaha) and some sand for my fuge. I liked the two tanks before entering the fish room, pretty good quality, the large reef tanks, they were very nice...I saw a few nice monti's i would have loved to pick up! :D

The new pair of yashas, disappeared on me for the first 48hrs, now are right out in the open in the front...cute little pair...however they don't stay together...and the pistol shrimp was so small i couldn't tell where it went...hahahahahaha :D

Presenting my New BioCube 29G :D

Well after coming across this tank for such a great deal...($140 Tank/Stand/Nanocustoms Hood/Koralia 1/everything in the stand) I could not pass this up!
So here it is :D :D :D :D
I am running the tank with my 150 K-2 Viper Clamp...however since this thing came with an upgraded hood, i may decide to retrofit a 150W MH into it, and sell the Viper Clamp...I really like the design of the hood...but only came with 4 36W CF's. :D

Great upgrade David! Always good to see happy corals & fish :)
Just watch those GSP, many keep them on a rock that is set slightly away from their main aquascaping so they won't start overgrowing onto other corals nearby.

You can contact Josh for the bone cutters :)

Thanks Kathy!!!!!! :D
The concert went very well, brought down the house once again, it was a nice sized crowd 400-500ppl there.
I finally got a day to enjoy my tanks!!! :D
I will move the GSP a little further away...right now it is too close to the radioactive dragoneyes...which is attached to the main part of the display :D
They finally all opened up...took about a month though :D

Started feeding my fish with garlic additive...they attack that food like it is going out of style...geez...Switched over from C-Balance to B-ionic 2-part dosing, and also am trying Reef Solutions for iodine, strontium and other elements.
