Good start!

Before someone gets on you a 37 gallon is considered way too small for a tang. Since the YT is so small I think it is fine for now but people will ask you what your future plans are for the fish. :) Based on your setup it seems you have done some research and you probably are already aware of the growth rate and needs of the tang. Anyway, I thought I'd give you a heads up.

Tank looks great though! Congrats. How about pics of the livestock? Yes I'm greedy!

Yep I know the Tang gets fairly large. In about 6 months, I will be upgrading the tang to a larger setup probably either a 90G or a 125G. I only feed 3x a week to keep it fairly small for now. Hopefully it doesn't go huge in 6 months.

I'll post more pictures. I'm not sure why MR keeps giving me errors when uploading.

Yeah, most people end up upgrading in this hobby LOL. You should be able to feed the Tang twice a day and still be fine until you upgrade in 6 months especially since the tang is 1". You'll find a lot of good deals on this site. Actually, the summer is the best time because people are breaking down often.

Thanks for the compliments. It took me awhile to get the scape steady without it falling down; but for now this is what I have. I snapped more shots and should have some livestock up soon.

most of the pics are larger than I can upload - is there a way I can resize?

thanks for the comments. the blue thing is a nudibranch, i'm not sure the exact type or name though but it brings lots of color to the tank.

I'm in brooklyn, ny.
