hi all..nice of you to stop by
its been 2 months since i broke down my 50g...and all my livestock was sitting in a large bin...i thought i would have my new tank up and running in 2 weeks tops...but ended up many weeks later....i tried to have the holding bin as close to a real tank as possible...but still lost a few of my sps and some are stn'in a bit...:irked:
the fishes were fine...sold all of them except for a mckoster's wrasse..
gladly to say coral casualties was minimal...mostly some frags and 2 small colonies..hope the rest will bounce back soon...they are have lost most of thier color but are starting to come back by the day...
im very happy with how it came out...im liking the cubes alot..

anyways...heres a equipment list:
oceanic 30g cube drilled with overflow box
custom stand
custom sump
custom frag tank
eheim 1262 for return
2 koralia 1's for circulation
tunze 9010 skimmer
150w sunpod
reef keeper 2
2 phosban reactors (1 carbon,1 GFO)
ASD nano ca reactor (not setup yet)
2 18" current satellite for the frag tank(new versions)

i also have a 150w pendant and 2 vho actinics...thinking about building a canopy for it...the sunpod is doing justice so far...trying to live witout actinics...haha

the tank is incorporated in the stand...and right now the temp for the whole system is 78 degrees...we'll see when summer hits..i have a few cooling solutions that should be fine

is the enclosed cabinet stand well vented. i'm a bit concern on the moisture buildup on the support board above it

Sounds good... I love the way you made that frag tank in the stand perfectly fit... Seems well planned out, great good..

yes its ventilated...all the wood is stained/sealed...the inside also have a few coats of acrylic paint..
now that i looked at the pics again...the sump section does look like its enclosed...but its actually just my wall ...

Very nice setup. Does your main display feed the frag tank ? Or does the main return line split off to feed both ?

Very nice build & set up. I like the way you laid it out with the frag tank. Makes me wish I'd built mine tall instead of wide. Best of luck with it!!
