no need to be sorry ndy, i do the same thing lol you never know if someone has changed lights lol. i am still working on the combination of bulbs i think this is it for now... almost close to what i had on my cube 14k phoenix
well folks today i lost a coral i have been trying to save that the gorilla crab got his claws on..... i took it out to see if i could save a morsel of it and no luck. very depressing but i guess that is the way the reef flows... :irked::smoker:
I know it's a bummer, but just look at what an amazing job you're doing with everything else. Somethings you just have no control over, no matter how hard you try. So with that said, ....B-U-B. lol couln't resist
well i had a mild crash from just reading too many posts and books... i have come to the conclusion and said many times in other posts "if it aint broken don't f'n fix it". after loosing half of my live stock(corals) i am finally on the way back up. i cracked the tube on my old diy skimmer so had to build a new and improved one here are a few pics....
thanks for those you help me through this and pointed out that what happen was just bump in the road

nice tank and set up. I like how you have your drain. Do you ever get slurping or gargling noise?
I was afraid I would get slurping noise or the awesome sound of a toilet flushing all night. If I went with a set up like yours, hence the glass holes overflow box.
