There was a 84x24x30 tank that was removed after being here for about 12 years. The upgrade is a used 72x32x30 acrylic tank.

A part of the wall had to be removed since the stand was part of it.

After the wall was removed I placed the new stand in its place.

replaced the "wall"

put the tank in place

then reattached the old trim and moldings.

yeah it's going to be a saltwater tank. Making the rocks this weekend then plumbing the following weekend.

you work fast Sean, what time did you finish? 5am

well the stand was built on site and the old tank was removed on Sunday. Then all the work you see here was done in about 5 hours including clean up. Not bad considering all the problems you always run into during demolition and construction.

Thanks for all the compliments but I have to give most of the credit to my friend Jude who is a master carpenter. It was just the two of us and I just told him what needed to be done then followed his lead.
