Brett,

Hope you're reading this and finding the road fun this late in the game. I thought I'd shoot you some updated pics of your tank, so you can see some of the new additions as well as the color and growth since setting it up for sitting at my house. Sorry for some of the blurry macro shots - camera isn't the best.

Enjoy the progress and I know, I need to trim back the chaeto - that happens today.

Enjoy

SWEEEEEET!

I'm loving that pipe organ. I can't wait to see it in color.

is that a watermellon blasto I see?

Thanks for the pics. I've been JONESING for my tank lately.

have my clowns decided to host in the cheato instead of the frogspawn? It's something they would decide to do!

The road is finally getting fun. I'm used to working the crazy schedule, and i'm getting to know the rest of the crew better. (which means I know who I can and can't trust.) Was out walking around Raleigh, NC (where I am this week) and happened to see that 'actinic glow' from across the street. went in and the guy just took over the place 2 weeks ago. He said all the tanks were dry, and he had just gotten everything back to working order. He had a few things in but nothing much. (had a COOL green scoly I almost had to fedex. . ) Looks like it will be a great store when it gets going. The owner, Chris, was telling me he had a 380, a 260, and a bunch of other small tanks at home, all SPS. If I wasn't on my way to work, I"d have begged him to let me help out. for the day.

I'm trying to find somewhere I can get Vectorworks for the educational price so I can start designing my new tank. The full version is $2100. Yeah. over 2 grand for software. The education version is $160, and the Educator version is around $400. I'm wondering the difference between the two cheaper versions. I'll send them an email and see. if they're the same, I'll have my roommate pick me up a copy (or 2) at the education price.

Is that a thin spot I see on the brain in the full tank shot? If so, feed it some silversides/blender mush, something meaty and it will grow back. it's done it before when it lost a battle with a green hairy shroom.

B

Nah, they're all healthy - it's the way the shot is taken - also, the new light just turnjed on, so, it wasn't fully opened -

Here are better ones - still a little distorted due to angle and pushed against the glass.

And the blasto, was the one I bought from the Midwest Reef GB

And a chaeto-less new full tank shot - enjoy

...ooOOOHH!!! You tricked me. I thought you meant Heliopora as in the Genus and not the species.

And as a matter of fact, I did pull one from the Frag Swap's grab bag:

Yeah. Hook me up, yo. Did you get a frag of mine at the last swap? If not you're at the top of the list.

B

Brett, are you ok?! :scratchch The 2 colonies look identical except for the lighting. Why would we trade frags?
